Geoff Sweeting has been helping people heal and transform their lives through the mind-body healing arts since 1994.

He currently practices from the 'New Farm Hypnotherapy Clinic’ in Brisbane, Queensland. 

In addition to his qualifications as a Clinical Hypnotherapist Geoff  is also a fully qualified and accredited Acupuncturist and Herbalist, with qualifications from Australia and China. 

Apart from his clinical work, Geoff  holds a unique and rare position as an ‘inner door’ member of a traditional lineage of  Eight Diagram Palm (Ba Gua Zhang) from Beijing.

Geoff’s distinctive combination of therapeutic skill and understanding has been influenced by the spiritual, psychotherapeutic and mind-body practices of ancient Chinese shamanism (Taoism), traditional European Vital Magnetism, Mesmerism,  Ericksonian Hypnotherapy, person-centred psychotherapy and the soulful approach to living well espoused by Thomas Moore and James Hillman.

Through his continual practice and study of these healing arts, Geoff has developed a distinctive sensitivity towards the mind-body connection and its accessibility through the trance state.

Geoff is committed to helping people grow and expand through self actualization into what he refers to as an active ongoing process of  “free-being”.  A movement toward human freedom, expression and integration.

Geoff has a Diploma of Clinical Hypnotherapy and is a member of the Australian Hypnotherapists' Association (AHA).
